Kimi Leger
Kimi Leger has been tattooing in Asheville since 2004. Throughout her career she has become a known, trusted tattooer with a good reputation and large clientele base. She feels honored to create art that literally becomes part of her clients forever. Kimi was voted #1 Tattoo Artist in Mountain Xpress’ 'Best of WNC' in Asheville 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 and #2 Tattoo Artist in 'Best of WNC' in Asheville 2014 and 2015.
At this point in her career Kimi is focusing on certain styles and will only take requests that allow her artistic freedom in the design. She is taking a break from cover ups, “redos” of other people’s work, and adding on to other people’s work. She tries to stay within a 3-6 month range when booking ahead, which is why her books close periodically.
Her background also includes live painting, where she has painted alongside talented musicians such as Pretty Lights, Desert Dwellers, RJD2, Mark Farina, Bonobo, Emancipator, Blockhead, Two Fresh, The Glitch Mob, and many more.
